Back here to spend a lovely week - mostly in warm sunshine - it seems as if summer has arrived in the Vendée!
Birdwatchers look out - 2 Jays are around the garden and again 2 Hoopoes with their distinctive crests; as well as blackbirds, tits and swallows.
The bakers are already open by the lighthouse for croissants & baguettes daily and you can order pizzas to bring down.
